Darshan P. Kaur

Darshan P. Kaur is a Sourcing and Vendor Management Leader with 25+ years of experience. Empowered with an MS in Computer Science from University of Delhi in India, she started her career in IT as a PL/SQL Developer. Since then, she has worked in IT across companies such as NIIT-Tech (now CoForge), Bellsouth (now AT&T), Coca-Cola, Assurant, Equifax, and across geographies & countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, India, and the US, and in myriad roles of Developer, Business Analyst, DBA, Data Consultant, Technical Leader, Project & Program Manager, and finally, Sourcing & Vendor Management. She joined Cisco in 2022 as a Leader in the Vendor Management office under Cisco IT and is diligently working to champion the cause of Vendor Governance with best practices at Cisco. Darshan has lived in the US for 25 years - mostly in Atlanta - but is still very connected to her roots and culture and her motherland, India. Besides her day job at Cisco, Darshan is a podcast host for Atlanta Dunia (meaning World in Hindi) and uses that platform to bring attention to issues of relevance to the Indian American community. She is also a part of the (Indian) community theatre and has acted in several plays over the last couple of decades. When not working, Darshan loves to sing Bollywood Karaoke songs and is also writing her first book - a romantic work of fiction reflective of her blend of East & West. Darshan also volunteers with Senior Citizens of her community over the weekends, and that is where she gathers her inspiration, blessings, fuel, and courage to accomplish her vision.
