Colby Philbin is an Engineering Product Manager Builder on Cisco's AI Software and Platform team. He shapes the roadmap for AI Canvas, an agentic operations platform, working closely with customers, and leads product for NeuralFabric, an AI model foundry for training, fine-tuning, inference, and evaluation of on-prem, on-edge, and on-device AI. Before Cisco, Colby spent nearly five years at Amazon, working across the ML spectrum—from classical ML platforms serving dozens of partner teams and millions of customers to generative AI, including Amazon's first large language model—and led product for Amazon Lists, a $40B+/year business, driving over $2B in incremental sales. Earlier, he co-founded a fintech B2B2C SaaS, reaching profitability in 12 months and driving a successful exit. Colby holds an MBA from UC Davis and a bachelor's in economics with a math minor from UC Santa Cruz. Outside of diving into the ever-evolving AI space, he spends his time with his wife and two young boys.
