Unified Communications – NDCS IT

I joined Cisco in 2004, when Cisco acquired dynamicsoft, my previous company. I had been at dynamicsoft since its first days (employee #6) as a small startup that lead and developed Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) technology, stacks and clients.

During my first year at Cisco I worked as a project manager within the development organization, and then saw the opportunity to move to Cisco IT to drive a fledgling concept – unified communications (UC). I became intimately involved with Cisco's internal deployment of UC solutions as a project manager; deploying multiple products and solutions, Unified Mobility with Single Number Reach (SNR) technology, for example. Today, I have program management responsibility for the entire unified communications program within Cisco IT and have never looked back since.

Being a driver within the general UC field is both challenging and exciting as we are always on the cutting edge of new ideas that connect people. Having the opportunity to do this within a global enterprise the size of Cisco – the brass ring. Are you connected?
