Dr Brendan O’Brien, Director Global Product Marketing for Cisco Connected Mobile Experiences.

Brendan leads the marketing and evangelizing of Cisco’s new Connected Mobile Experiences (CMX) solutions -- which enables enterprises to turn WiFi into a business and services innovation platform. Working closely with large enterprises and Service Providers globally he helps address advocate the various business modesl and opportunities that are emerging to enable monetization of WiFi generated data and analytics. 

 

Prior to Cisco as founder and CEO of ThinkSmart Technologies, Brendan successfully led the company from its foundation in mid 2010 to acquisition by Cisco Systems in September 2012.  ThinkSmart was recognized as the leader in pioneering the market for location-based analytics using WiFi. It was founded as a University spin-out, attracted world leading post doctoral researchers, and under Dr O’Brien’s leadership drove awareness and adoption globally through ThinkSmart’s ground-breaking software.
