Bill accelerates Cisco’s communications and technology policy engagements with U.S. and international government entities. In this role, he also places a global emphasis on the importance of releasing spectrum in the 6 GHz band to alleviate wireless spectrum congestion and to enable an entirely new generation of advanced technologies. Prior to joining Cisco, Bill served as Chief of Staff and Senior Legal Advisor for FCC Commissioner Geoffrey Starks, where he oversaw the office’s operations and advised the Commissioner on wireless, equipment, and international issues. He is a graduate of Northwestern University and the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School.
