Benson Lao

Benson Lao leads product management for Cisco Wireless’s AIOps and assurance, growth, and licensing, responsible for driving the overall success and strategy of these efforts within Cisco Wireless. Benson is passionate about improving customer’s experiences by simplifying complex technologies. Benson joined Meraki in 2021 as a product management intern for the Meraki Wireless (MR) portfolio and returned full time in 2022. Prior to joining Meraki, Benson held a variety of roles, including authoring and publishing 14 textbooks on globalization and international studies. Benson earned Bachelor of Arts degrees in Business Economics and Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine, and an MBA focused on technology management from USC Marshall School of Management. Raised in Los Angeles, Benson currently resides in San Francisco.
