Arvie Martin is Senior Director of UCS Compute Product Management for Cisco Systems. Arvie's been with Cisco over 15 years and manages the product management team responsible for Cisco's Unified Computing Systems (UCS) Rack Servers, AI Servers and key peripherals in the overall server portfolio (i.e. CPUs, Local Drive options, Memory, GPUs and 3rd party NICs). As part of the original team that brought our x86 server portfolio to market, Arvie was responsible for the first UCS rack servers, Cisco’s first 4 Socket blade server and was involved in every one of the 8 models of UCS servers introduced. Prior to joining Cisco Systems he spent 13 years at Sun Microsystems managing the SunFire Server and Ultra Workstation Product Management Team. Arvie has an Engineering degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo and a Master of Science degree from the University of Southern California.
