Andrea Parker

Dearest Reader, I'm just a small town girl who still believes in using pen and paper to write the first drafts of all of my hopes, dreams, and everything in between. I was born and raised in Roanoke Rapids, NC, the oldest of three. I attended East Carolina University where I earned a bachelor's degree in communications and NC A&T State University for my master's in information technology. I am also a Certified Scrum Master. I hold several titles, such as "wife" to my amazing husband, Jerrell, and "mommy" to my little rainbow, Noah. I joined Cisco in 2021, after 32 applications and 2 Cisco Days; one where I failed my interview process miserably, and the other where I passed with flying colors. I have served as the co-lead to the CBP-RTP Inclusive Community for the past 2.5 years at my pleasure and utmost honor, and I have also served on several core project teams such as Cisco Radiate and the Cisco NOIR blog. I love writing and learning how my experiences influence, enhance, and inspire readers.
