RF Excellence and Wireless Innovation

Allen Huotari has been working in the wireless communications and networking industry for nearly 30 years. His experience  has encompassed satellite, cellular, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi across military, consumer, service provider, and enterprise environments. A couple of years ago a friend and colleague encouraged him to make the leap from design engineering to product management. As a result, he was invited to join the Enterprise WLAN team in Cisco Systems. In his current role, he specializes in RF Excellence and Wireless Innovation, investigates emerging technologies, and best of all gets to hang out with a bunch of totally cool and really smart people. Among the accomplishments he is most thankful for are 32 patents (and counting), and raising three remarkably gifted children with his wife of 30 years.
