Albert Chen

Albert Chen is Product Management Leader at Cisco with over a decade of experience driving developer-first platform growth and leading cross-functional teams. At Cisco, he oversees the API and ecosystem product roadmap for both Meraki and Catalyst Center, focusing on platform simplification and developer experience.   Albert has a proven track record of transforming organizations through API-first strategies and award-winning developer experiences. In 2024, his team won Postman's "Best API Award," ranking #10 globally out of 100,000+ APIs. His core expertise includes API strategy and developer experience, identity and access management, platform ecosystems, and product-led growth.   Prior to Cisco, Albert led product management teams at Okta, where he scaled the Okta Integration Network to over 7300 apps and integrations. He also served as Founding Product Manager at several early-stage startups across ad tech, cybersecurity/GRC, and health IT, consistently building products that accelerate platform adoption through exceptional developer experiences.   Beyond his corporate work, Albert served as Speaker Curator for ProductTank SF from 2018–2023, helping grow San Francisco's largest product management community to over 4000 members. He is a proud Cal Bear alumnus and resides in San Francisco with his wife and two daughters, where he enjoys cooking and exploring the Bay Area food scene.
