Adaptive Radio Modules for the 3600 Series AP: Best of Interop 2013 Finalist

We’ve been really busy but also very thrilled about the work we’re doing to future-proofing the network, and it seems we’re not alone. One of our latest innovations, adaptive radio modules for the AP3600, has been selected by UBM as a Best of Interop finalist for the Wireless award category!

What are the Adaptive Radio Modules?

The Adaptive Radio Modules a family of solutions in a modular form factor that allows customers to adapt their wireless network to their current and future needs. The Adaptive Radio Modules provide a dedicated third radio that can be field upgraded on the 3600 Access Point.

Cisco ASA Service Module (SM) receives USGv6 Certification!

The Global Certification Team (GCT) is pleased to announce the Cisco Adaptive Security Appliance Services Module (ASA SM) blade for 6500 series & 7600 series on software version 9.0.(0)16 or later has received USGv6 Certification from University of New Hampshire – Interoperability Laboratory. The UNH-IOL uses this collaborative testing model to distribute the cost of performing trusted, third-party testing and validation. USGv6 testing covers 27 categories of USGv6 NPD tests. Cisco Common Crypto Module is now FIPS certified!

The Global Certification Team is proud to announce the FIPS Certification of the Cisco Common Crypto Module (C3M).  The Official listing can be found on the NIST website at http://goo.gl/3vPaa.

The Cisco Common Cryptographic Module (C3M) is a software library that provides cryptographic services to a vast array of Cisco’s networking and collaboration products. The module provides FIPS validated cryptographic algorithms for services such as sRTP, SSH, TLS, 802.1x etc. The module does not implement any of the protocols directly. Instead, it provides the cryptographic primitives and functions to allow a developer to implement various protocols.
