Rob Cornwell serves as the Insurance Practice Manager, Americas Business Transformation for Cisco Systems. Rob leads a team of industry experts that help connect technology and business process to drive solutions for the insurance industry. Rob and his team work with top providers across the financial services industry on a variety of topics including; IoE for insurance, Omni-channel strategies, collaboration, customer & agent experience, data analytics, cloud capabilities, security and more. Rob’s specialty is connecting the dots to the many ways technology can impact business processes to grow revenue, drive competitive differentiation and gain efficiencies to reduce cost.

Rob’s 20 plus years of insurance industry experience includes marketing & advertising strategy execution for Auto, Home, Life, Health, Bank and Mutual Funds products. After running his own multi-line agency, a leading agency for the industry’s top provider, Rob served as an Agency Consultant and Agency Field Executive. Rob has provided thought leadership and innovation strategy across many business functions. Rob also has functional experience in underwriting, claims and other insurance operations.

Rob has served on multiple industry associations and initiatives involving legislative lobbying, public relations and community outreach. Today, Rob resides in the Chicago area and works with industry leaders across the country.
