The Cisco acquisition of BroadSoft in February 2018, brought the promise of a  partnership that would generate exciting opportunities for our service provider partners and bring a best-in-class complete collaboration experience to millions of business users around the world.

That promise has now been fully realized: we have fully integrated the global BroadWorks calling platform with the market-leading Cisco Webex collaboration portfolio.

We are proud to work with our Service Provider partners to bring their customers a complete collaboration experience, seamlessly delivering BroadWorks calling solutions with Cisco Webex advanced messaging and meeting capabilities, all within a single app.

Introducing Webex for BroadWorks

Cisco Webex for BroadWorks is a flexible solution bringing together the Service Provider partner’s Cisco BroadWorks call control platform and the Cisco Webex cloud to address the global Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) opportunity. The opportunity is massive: Gartner estimates the opportunity to be $15.7B this year and growing rapidly to $24.6B by 2024.*

The result is a complete, modern collaboration suite, delivered via the Webex app. Customers can choose from flexible packages that range from basic softphone to premium meetings, allowing for up to 1000 participants in a single meeting. Small businesses can continue to rely on their trusted Service Provider to provision, manage, and support, not only their calling solution but their entire collaboration experience as well.

To ensure Partner success Cisco has rolled out a Managed Onboarding Program that offers technical program management from site prep to production push, as well as go-to-market guidance and sales enablement to accelerate time to market and fully realize their revenue opportunity.

White-gloved Partner support drives enhanced customer experience

When launching Webex for BroadWorks, Service Provider partners can count on a dedicated Cisco Partner Engagement launch team that will bring to the table planning materials, technical and sales training, launch toolkits, as well as program management support of the Service Provider’s overall product launch plan.

During the managed onboarding kick-off, the Partner is walked through the valuable resources offered to support all phases of the launch journey:

  • Planning: Comprehensive onboarding and go-to-market project plans
  • Administration training: e-learning course providing a deep-dive on the technical implementation for Service Provider administrators
  • Marketing: Brandable marketing collateral, campaigns, and messaging toolkits
  • Sales enablement: end-to-end online sales training program, to bring sellers up-to-speed on the offer, product, and key unique differentiators
  • End-user support: A robust online help center curated specifically for the Webex for BroadWorks offer for end-user self-serve support

Finally, as part of our strategic commitment to the offer, the Cisco BroadWorks call control platform is now designated as a “Managed Service” and Webex for BroadWorks now qualifies as a “Cisco Powered service”. Service Providers now participating in Cisco’s award-winning Cloud and Managed Services Program (CMSP) can enjoy the value-added benefits with this special distinction to help your managed service thrive.
