Service Provider Video Software & Solutions being featured at #IBC2018
Infinite Video Platform is a cloud service for pay-TV operators to secure, distribute, and monetize premium video experiences on all devices. It enables operators to offer products that attract new customers, reconnect to cord-cutters, and retain valued subscribers.
Evo is our advanced User Experience control platform enabling one-way, Direct-to-Home (DTH) Satellite pay-TV operators to manage and monetize premium video services on broadcast set-tops.
Live Video DevOps & Scalable Containerized Video Workflows
Containerized video micro-services make it simple to create and provision video workflows on bare metal or VMs. Our solution leverages OpenShift Kubernetes, Docker Containers, and Ansible Playbooks to create push-button Blueprints for any video cloud workflow.
Building on our Virtual DCM success, we’ve integrated Skyline’s DataMiner Media Manager to bring data and visibility to complex workflows.
Cloud DVR Solutions
Pay-TV operators that want to deliver Pause Live TV, Catch-up TV, Restart TV and other time-shifted video experiences on all devices can learn how our cloud-first, micro-services-based architecture enables agility and efficient-scaling in a multi-cloud environment.
Fight Illegal Streaming with VideoGuard® Anti-Piracy Services
At IBC, we’ll show how streaming piracy works and demonstrate how we fight it using Watermarking, Web Monitoring, Anti-piracy Analytics, and OpSec Automation tools. We’ll also highlight ways in which Anti-Piracy Analytics and Watermarking can be used to support marketing & subscriber acquisition tactics.
High Quality, Low Latency ABR Streaming with Smart Rate Control
Our patented SVQ video quality metric drives rate control for Virtual DCM encoding to optimize the perceived quality of Live Streams. At IBC, we are featuring a new automation algorithm that adapts the encoding quality target even further to match specific content characteristics, thereby achieving the highest video quality with maximum bandwidth efficiency.
This demo shows Service Providers how they can achieve broadcast quality and cost-effectiveness for their Live ABR streaming to in-home TVs, Tablets, Phones, and any HTTP ABR client. The Media Broadcaster uses the power of multicast enabled networks to stream HLS, DASH, HSS with low-latency, rapid channel change, and error repair. (Integrates easily with existing ABR infrastructure.)
Our newest D9800 Network Transport Receiver helps Content Providers securely deliver premium video over satellite while easily adding a transition path to full IP delivery for Primary Distribution. Our PowerVu Network Control system, PNC IQ, is also being adapted to help operators manage their mission-critical transitions to IP.
Our demo showcases D9800 capabilities including satellite, ABR, and Zixi ingest, as well as HEVC transcoding to AVC or MPEG-2 to meet affiliate requirements. We’ll also show how the PNC IQ enables content providers to augment their current PowerVu OTA controls with monitoring and analytics.
