IBM—in partnership with Cisco—is offering an extended free trial of its Video Streaming platform

This year, we can project that most large meetings, industry events, and training will be virtual and delivered through conferencing solutions such as Cisco Webex. For instance, here at Cisco, we’ve seen Webex use grow tremendously to 20 billion minutes of meetings in April alone.

To support large virtual events, Cisco and IBM have partnered to enable you to live stream Cisco Webex meetings through IBM’s Video Streaming platform at IBM Watson Media. With this solution, you can reach thousands of internal and external audiences virtually on any device. Its innovative capabilities include a host of benefits, from ease of use to powerful AI-driven features. This solution is currently part of an extended free access trial.

Just a few clicks away

Once you turn on integration, launching a live stream is easy. Simply choose a streaming channel from inside Webex. Then, click “Go Live” to push the Webex session out over the channel. Your audience can watch live-streamed content on any device from a smartphone or tablet to a desktop. In addition, live streams can be embedded on websites and video content portals. Learn more.

This IBM and Cisco solution also enables an array of one-to-many video management and distribution capabilities. For example, you can reach larger live audiences, automatically archive video conferences for later use, and access key analytics related to your streams.
