Tomorrow at Cisco Live!, I will be moderating a roundtable discussion featuring four government thought-leaders:

During the roundtable, each customer will discuss how they are using technology to address current challenges – such as greater demand for mobile technology, fewer resources, limited budgets and new models for delivering citizen services.

We will highlight how their technology solutions, including mobile video and cloud computing, address these issues and provide increased reliability, scalability, and flexibility at a lower cost.

The Ninth Circuit Court, the Florida Department of Highway Safety and the Alabama National Guard will conduct demonstrations during the discussion. The Ninth Circuit Court will demonstrate its remote interpretation solution through a live interpretation session. The Florida Department of Highway Safety will have a state trooper call in from a patrol car and the Alabama National Guard will be joining the session via its mobile video unit. The City of Melrose will also provide best practices for streamlining operations in local government through shared services.

We are honored to have these innovative IT leaders come to Cisco Live and share the challenges they faced and the benefits they are receiving from these technologies.

Please join us tomorrow as we explore the changing government landscape and the role of technology in this new environment. There will be a long question and answer session at the end allowing the participants to respond directly to your inquiries.

If you cannot join us in-person please tune in at Ustream.tv/ciscotv. You can even tweet your questions to be answered live!
