Jerzy "Yuri" Kramarz is a Principal Engineer and Director at Cisco Talos Incident Response, leading a global team of incident responders, project managers, and business support functions that delivers one of Cisco's fastest-paced cybersecurity services. He previously served as Head of Red Team at Cisco, and brings that adversary perspective directly into how he builds and runs defensive operations today. With over 15 years of deep expertise across both offensive and defensive cybersecurity, Yuri partners with stakeholders at every level to translate complex technical risk into meaningful business outcomes. He believes that every organization is unique, and that sustainable security requires collaboration, trust, and tailored strategy. His work spans banking, government, healthcare, oil and gas, and utilities, from securing major events to leading offensive and defensive engagements and responding to significant data breaches globally, including across Europe, the US, Asia Pacific, and the Middle East. Yuri brings specialized expertise in ICS and OT environments, both in securing critical national infrastructure and responding to incidents involving industrial systems. He is an active security researcher with over 100 publicly disclosed vulnerabilities across different technology stacks. He holds the ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Expert certification along with the GIAC GRID, GDAT, and GMLE certifications, and is a CREST Fellow, recognized for outstanding commitment to the technical information security industry.
