Wes Kinard

Wes Kinard is the Global Strategic Partner Manager responsible for driving the relationship and strategy with Red Hat around our technology and commercial focus areas. Prior to this role, he was part of the Global IBM Alliance team and led the strategic technical alignment with IBM and Red Hat after it was acquired. Wes joined Cisco in 2007 as a consulting systems engineer and has broadly covered Cisco’s data center portfolio including UCS, MDS, Nexus and converged infrastructure with our storage partners. He came to Cisco from IBM where he was a technical leader in their HPC business responsible for solution design, product development, education and sales to IBM’s top customers. He has a history of developing partner relationships to build results focused solutions for customers in demanding industries such as FSI, healthcare, and government. Wes is a graduate of Texas A&M University, with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
