Tom brings over 15 years of experience from the financial services industry. He is a Vertical Solutions Architect within Cisco’s Americas Business Transformation Group.  The Business Transformation Group works with financial services customers to drive transformational change across all delivery channels by ensuring architecture alignment with our customer’s business imperatives.

 As a Vertical Solutions Architect, Tom has recently been focused on the alignment of Cisco Architecture and Solutions to address next generation branch activities that many financial services firms are working on today. These activities focus on driving a differentiated branch experience for a bank’s customers through the innovative use of technology in the branch environment.

 Prior to Cisco, Tom was a Chief Architect for Adaptivity, where he oversaw the solution development and delivery of consulting engagements to large Financial Institutions in the US, Canada and UK.  Prior to Adaptivity, Tom spent over 6 years at Wachovia where he lead and architecture team driving a major transformation of Wachovia’s online banking platform and also drove organizational and technology transformational change in Wachovia’s Corporate and Investment Bank.  Tom currently resides in Charlotte, NC with his wife and two kids.
