Srikanth Narasimhan is a Distinguished Engineer in Cisco IoT Solutions group. He leads Cisco Validated Designs for Extended Enterprise IOT solutions and automations with Cisco’s market leading Intent-Based Networking, IoT Networking, and Cisco Digital Network Architecture (Cisco DNA™). Srikanth is the co-author of the book “Enterprise Digitization Patterns” published in January 2018.
Srikanth’s previous Cisco responsibilities have included Chief Architect for Cisco IT Autonomous Operations, Lead Architect for Cisco VACS (Virtual Application Cloud Segmentation) in Cloud and Virtualization BU, Chief Architect for Cisco Finance and Cisco Capital services and Enterprise Architect for Cisco IT. He has 32 years of experience spanning telecom, banking, financial services and high-tech industries. Prior to joining Cisco in 2000, Srikanth was Vice-President of Engineering for eCredit Inc., MA.
Srikanth is a frequent speaker and panelist at IEEE, COMSNETS, and Open Group Architecture Practitioner Conferences around the world. In 2016, Srikanth was chosen by Cisco to be a Torchbearer at the Rio Paralympic Games in Brazil.
In 2015, Srikanth was recognized as “Top Chief Architect in India” by John Zachman, known as “Father of Enterprise Architecture”. He has been a mentor to a number of startups as part of Cisco Startup Accelerator program – Launchpad.
