Michael Glickman is Senior Vice President and leader of the Global Service Provider Segment. He and his team are responsible for Cisco's Service Provider strategy, creating and driving innovative offers and sales motions on a global basis, and providing a consistent experience for customers, partners, and field teams.

Glickman and his team are charged with defining one global operating model for the Service Provider Segment, building and orchestrating the business, and scaling capabilities to deliver sales success. This includes offers to Service Providers utilized to build out their networks and services, and also those fueling Cisco's go-to-market relationship with Service Providers as a Channel.

During his long tenure at Cisco, Glickman has held a variety of leadership positions in Sales and Marketing. Prior to his current role, he led the relationships with Hyper-Scale players, U.S. Telecommunications companies, Latin American Service Providers, Wireline Emerging Providers, and U.S. Cable operators.

Glickman has over 25 years of experience in the technology marketplace, which has included responsibilities in Sales, Marketing, and Finance. He joined Cisco from Amdahl Corporation (Fujitsu America) where he was Vice President and General Manager for Northeastern Operations, with profit-and-loss responsibility for all operations in that region.

Outside of Cisco, Glickman serves on several industry boards including CTIA and NAF and sits on the Executive Board of Junior Achievement in New Jersey.

Glickman holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from the University of Illinois.

MWC Series: Testing 5G services for Manufacturing and Smart Cities Applications with TIM

We are very pleased with our partnership with TIM. As mentioned in my other blog covering TIM Safeweb, we are working with TIM to further digitization of businesses and public- sector organizations in Italy. We are now expanding further on this goal with the beginning of the first 5G applications and services testing.
