Emma Scudder

Emma Scudder is Director of Business Development, CX for the Healthcare Practice at Cisco. She leads a team of healthcare experts dedicated to working with customers to find the most value from their relationship with Cisco. Through cultivating internal and external relationships, business development, thought-leadership, solution development and operational excellence, her team helps customers achieve their clinical, operational, and business outcomes faster. A 15-year healthcare IT executive, Emma is passionate about improving access to, education about and quality of healthcare and believes that it’s about making the world better through patient care. She brings well-rounded healthcare experience spanning vendor, consulting, payer and provider organizations and healthcare systems. This includes leadership roles with Epic Systems, Nordic Consulting, and GE Healthcare. Emma holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire in PR and French and a MA also from the University of Wisconsin Madison in Library and Information Studies. When not spending time outside with her family, she is an active supporter of literacy programs, where she is both a volunteer and donor to charities such as the United Way’s Emerging Readers Program and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
