DD Dasgupta

Dhritiman “DD” Dasgupta is the Vice President of Product Management for the Cisco Cloud and Compute team. In this role, DD leads a global team dedicated to helping customers navigate and accelerate their hybrid cloud journeys through a portfolio of open, flexible, and secure solutions that span on-premises data centers to multi-cloud environments. A seasoned executive and a dynamic leader with over 22 years of experience in product marketing, product management, and software development at some of the most prestigious brands - including Cisco, Norteland Juniper Networks. DD has a unique domain background with technology expertise in voice, video and cable to networking, security, applications, data center all the way to cloud. DD has built and sold products, supported very large, critical customer escalations and launched some of the most iconic products of the past decade. He is equally adept at marketing software/SaaS products as well as hardware/on-premise solutions. DD is an out-of-the-box thinker and a problem solver. He has not only helped companies grow within established markets and displace competitors but also has created new markets and help companies expand into adjacencies. He has launched startups out of stealth mode, created billions of dollars of demand pipeline and helped gain (and regain) market share with compelling and sometimes provocative messaging backed up with modern, digital automation tools. Outside of work, DD is a musician and a music producer. He plays the bass guitar for several bands in the Bay area, CA. He has composed music for Cirque Du Soleil and has collaborated with several leading Hollywood production studios and DJs and artists of our era. DD and his wife and their two sons reside in Pleasanton, CA.
