Aviran Kadosh is an architect in the Core ASIC Group (CAG). He joined Cisco in March 2016 via the acquisition of Leaba Semiconductor and has a significant role in developing Silicon One architecture. Aviran started his career in 1997 in Galileo Technologies that was later acquired by Marvell Semiconductor, and after 13 years, Aviran joined Dune Networks that was bought by Broadcom. A few years later, he joined as the first employee to Leaba Semiconductor. Aviran has more than 20 years of engineering experience in all aspects of silicon development, from design and verification, through physical-design, to architecture. He believes that having such a vast experience helps him to make better architectural decisions. His expertise is networking, traffic management, and Ethernet. Aviran holds more than 25 patents in the area of networking and a BSc., cum laude in computer engineering from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. But if you asked him, his most significant achievement is his children.
