Helping our customers simplify and streamline how they build, manage, and optimize great networking experiences is at the heart of Cisco Networking Cloud.

At Cisco Live Amsterdam, we’re advancing this vision with innovations that simplify operations with automation and artificial intelligence (AI), extend visibility across cloud and on-premises networks, converge the management experience, and provide network assurance across devices and applications.

Cloud Monitoring for Catalyst Wireless

I’m excited to announce the introduction of Cloud Monitoring for Catalyst Wireless. Starting with the public beta in April, Cisco Catalyst customers can gain visibility into traffic flowing across their wireless networks through the Meraki dashboard. The solution supports Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers and most Catalyst Wi-Fi 5 Wave 2, Wi-Fi 6, and Wi-Fi 6E access points. Combined with our cloud-connected Catalyst switches, admins and support teams can rapidly diagnose and address issues anywhere in the network, saving time and simplifying infrastructure management.

New Catalyst 9300-M cloud-managed switches

With the latest additions to the Catalyst 9300-M portfolio, customers will benefit from the power and security of Catalyst 9300 switches combined with the simplicity and efficiency of Meraki cloud management. Customers can now select from 15 powerful new models to build their entire branch architecture on a cloud-native Catalyst platform. The journey to the cloud is as simple as the destination.

Our new switch models provide 90W Cisco Universal Power Over Ethernet (UPOE+) options, making them the ideal foundation for smart, sustainable buildings. With high-density multigigabit, fiber options, and capability of up to 1TB physical stacking, the Catalyst 9300-M series helps scale secure networking across any site. With powerful built-in capabilities such as application visibility, troubleshooting tools, and Adaptive Policy, Meraki dashboard empowers your team to scale rapidly without adding complexity.

For customers looking to jumpstart or continue to expand their cloud footprint, this is an opportunity to build a fully cloud-managed, future-proof network with the best and most powerful hardware and platform options.

Granular device insights and a unified management experience

Troubleshooting application impacts on the network from usage by individual devices just got a lot easier with the Cisco ThousandEyes Endpoint Agent. Endpoint Agent collects data about network and application layer performance, enabling admins to instantly connect performance problems to device issues and take quick action to restore workforce productivity.

Together with ThousandEyes Endpoint’s hop-by-hop network visibility and real user web application experience metrics, customers receive powerful insights into all of the critical IT domains that impact workforce digital experience—device, network, service, and application.

Finally, platform navigator brings data management together with a one-click single sign-on experience, allowing admins to toggle between Meraki, Intersight, and Internet of Things on demand. Access to all six Cisco dashboards is expected in the next few months, simplifying operations across Cisco Networking.

For 2024, service reliability and networking simplicity are top IT priorities

To take the next step in your journey towards a more efficient operating model, I encourage you to check out these innovations in the Cisco Networking Cloud. Together, we can unify management, security policy, and data, and build new digital experiences on top of this powerful platform.

Discover how a cloud operating model can transform your organization.
