Wes Sylvester is the VP of Global Industrial Networking Sales. His background in the industrial space, especially in energy and manufacturing, gives him a unique perspective and deep understanding of our customers' needs. He most recently led Cisco's Global Strategic Partner Sales organization, where he was responsible for partner strategy, go-to-market execution, and growth for our OEM, sell-with, and sell-through strategic partners. Wes's leadership has been instrumental in driving business development, sales, enablement, and cross-architecture solutions with global infrastructure partners, consultants, and systems integrators. Prior to this, he served as VP of Cisco's Industry Solutions Group.
Wes holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from MSOE in Milwaukee and an MBA from the University of North Carolina Kenan-Flagler Business School, with a concentration in Strategy and Leadership.
He is an executive sponsor for Cisco Pride and passionate about giving back, including volunteering to teach basic financial literacy in local high schools.
