Veronica Toscano

I am the first in my family to graduate from college. This would have not been possible without the support from Students Rising Above (SRA). SRA is a scholarship program awarded to first-generation-college students, who despite the obstacles they face at home (domestic violence, homelessness, incarcerated parent, etc...) they rise above and excel in school. As an alumni, I now volunteer with the organization.
