Norman St. Laurent has an extensive career spanning over three decades in both the public and private sector in computer and network security, forensics, and systems engineering. Since 2016, he has served Cisco in multiple roles including Consulting Systems Security Engineer and Cybersecurity Specialist as well as a security Product Marketing Manager for the US Public Sector. He has been instrumental in analyzing and qualifying strategic sales opportunities, providing in-depth product presentations, and developing security strategies to meet various mission types within the Intelligence Community and Federal sector. His role also involves delivering technical training and producing various technical collateral including whitepapers and blogs, to support Cisco's security products and US Public Sector missions.   Prior to Cisco, Mr. St. Laurent has also had a distinguished career in engineering and cybersecurity with the Pentagon, Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), National Security Agency (NSA), and the Director of National Intelligence (DNI) National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF). At the FBI, he served as a Computer Analysis Response Team (CART) examiner, performing forensic analysis, evidence processing, and diagnostics on computer media for hundreds of investigations. He liaised with law enforcement and intelligence agencies, provided on-site assistance for computer search and seizure, and developed guidelines and tools for digital forensic analysis. At the NSA, he contributed to the Network Intrusion Analysis Capability (NIAC), integrating post-intrusion incident data with network attack intelligence to detect and mitigate attacks. His responsibilities included producing incident trends, intrusion detection filter requirements, and countermeasures, as well as participating in penetration testing. As a Chief Cyber Security Engineer/Architect for the NITTF, he provided technical consulting and analysis on information technology systems, identified technical risks, and developed mitigation strategies, playing a crucial role in designing and reviewing enterprise-level technical solutions for Insider Threat capabilities across the executive branch.   Mr. St. Laurent holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from Radford University, a Master of Aeronautical Science degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, and a Certificate of Achievement in Foundations of Leadership from the Mendoza College of Business at the University of Notre Dame. He has also completed multiple graduate courses in Systems Engineering from John Hopkins University.
