Maria Callaghan is a member of the Security & Trust Organization (S&TO) and leads programs at the intersection of cybersecurity, geopolitics, and human rights, aimed at accelerating customer data protection, transparency, and privacy around the globe. She is a member of the RTP Innovation Coalition, Cisco Pride, Cisco WISE, and actively leads local efforts to assist those experiencing homelessness.
Maria joined Cisco in July, 2018 after graduating from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan with a BBA degree in Entrepreneurial Studies. Her past work experiences include working in San Jose as a business analyst for CPS, interning in Sydney, Australia assisting Chubb Security in industry research and digital marketing, and assisting in research for the Atonement Project, a University of Michigan art-based outreach program for incarcerated persons.
In her spare time, she enjoys exploring the outdoors with her husky Atlas, canoeing, and finding cheap and unique ways to travel the world.
