Jamari Cortez

Hey! My name is Jamari, I am a Project Manager at Cisco. I was born and raised in Staten Island, New York and came down to North Carolina in 2015 to attend the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I graduated in 2019 and started my career at Cisco a few weeks afterwards. In my free time, I enjoy listening to music and playing video games. Outside of Cisco, I run a DJ business where I provide music for clients across the country. I began DJing in 2019 and since then, I have curated hundreds of playlists, DJ'd over 300 events, including over 50 weddings, and have been able to create memorable experiences for countless of people, both clients and attendees. Growth and happiness are two of my core values and I intend to continue to make others smile through my interactions and contributions.
