Javier Contreras (CCIE 10749, Security and Wireless) is Principal Engineer for the Enterprise Business Unit, for Wireless and SDWAN, focused on the EMEA region for the last 16 years. He previously worked in security consultancy and training. Javier has been involved mostly in high priority support cases for wireless and SDWAN infrastructures, CCIE Wireless development, Maintenance Releases, Wireless security testing, leading the WLC Config Analyzer, Wireless Analyzer Express, WiFi Hawk, and vManage Log analysis applications.
Javier has over 20 years of experience in the IT and networking industry and has also contributed to the Cisco Press book "Deploying and Troubleshooting Wireless Networks"
He has directly reported more than 1300 defects and feature requests and currently live in Barcelona, and does Taichi Chuan as a hobby.
