Denise Shiffman is Senior Vice President of Networking Strategy and Marketing, the organization uniting product marketing, business strategy, sustainability programs, industry standards, and strategic initiatives across Cisco’s networking business. In partnership with teams across Cisco, Denise's organization develops innovative solutions and product marketing strategies, gains early traction with partners and customers, and drives growth and transformation for the long term.
With domain expertise in enterprise software and hardware, cloud services, cybersecurity, servers, storage, and networking, Denise has a passion for solving challenging problems. Her data-driven approach touches every discipline she leads, including product management, R&D, strategy, marketing, and technical partnerships.
Prior to joining Cisco in 2023, Denise founded and led GroupWell, a data-driven telehealth therapy service. She was the Chief Product Officer at DriveScale and SVP of Product & Strategy at Juniper Networks, where she was responsible for $4B in switching, security, and routing revenue. She has previously held senior executive positions at GlaxoSmithKline and Sun Microsystems.
Denise is the award-winning author of “The Age of Engage: Reinventing Marketing for Today's Connected, Collaborative, and Hyperinteractive Culture”. A longtime mentor and advisor, Denise is passionate about diversity and inclusion. She holds an MBA from Pepperdine University.
