Bhaskar Jayakrishnan

Bhaskar Jayakrishnan is the Senior Vice President of Engineering for Customer Experience at Cisco. In this role, he is responsible for defining and delivering the platform that enables customers' product lifecycle and support experience. In his previous roles at Cisco, Bhaskar led the software and customer operations teams responsible for engineering delivery and continuous innovation for a vast portfolio of on-premises compute and cloud-delivered products, including Unified Computing System (UCS), HyperFlex, Intersight, and Workflows. Bhaskar was also a key figure in the Cisco UCS business from its inception, leading engineering teams across multiple geographies. He played a crucial role in scaling the business to a multi-billion-dollar enterprise, continuing in this capacity until June 2024. Additionally, Bhaskar is the visionary behind the development of Intersight, the SaaS-delivered hybrid cloud operations platform designed to manage a comprehensive stack of assets across the infrastructure, workload, cloud, and application layers. Before joining Cisco in 2009, Bhaskar held several technical and engineering leadership roles at companies including Greenfield Networks (acquired by Cisco), Intel, and Hughes Software Systems. Bhaskar holds a Master of Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India, and a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Birla Institute of Technology & Science, Pilani, India.
