Abdiel Hernandez Fentanes

I am Abdiel, a Technical Leader in Customer Engineering at ThousandEyes. I have an MSc in Data Communication, specializing in Security, and a decade of hands-on experience in security, networking, and cloud computing, I am a seasoned professional dedicated to the vanguard of technology. I started my career as a consulting engineer for different technologies but soon started to specialize in security and network monitoring. Since then, I have gained experience in network security, AAA systems, and cloud security services. I have a passion for technology, solving problems and driving innovation in my job. I enjoy being able to simplify complex topics and explain them. I also like to think of myself as a visionary and strategic thinker. When I find a problem, I tend to have a powerful desire to solve it which has led me to many challenges in my professional career. Outside the job, I love spending time with my wife and 2-year-old. We love going to the beach and traveling to places.
