A month or two back, I blogged about how Cisco introduced our first-ever Global Advocacy Awards at Cisco Live Barcelona 2020. Among our winners was Jon Townsend, CIO with the National Trust—a conservation charity that protects and cares for historic and naturally beautiful places in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.

Interior of Knole, a national landmark under National Trust management.

Founded in 1895, the Trust looks after the nation’s coastline, historic sites, countryside, and green spaces. Using Cisco’s enterprise networking and security solutions, they’ve been able to secure, centrally manage, and future-proof their network. The Trust also uses Cisco collaboration solutions to unify their voice environment, improve team productivity, and drive cost savings.

I invite you to visit our new case study landing page to hear more from Jon and his colleague, John Nield, on how the Trust is connecting and preserving these national treasures for future generations.
