As VP Engineering, Enterprise Networking Cisco Vivek leads a diverse global team of engineers. The portfolio includes SDWAN (Viptela), Mobility (5G), Routing, Virtualization, Cloud networking solutions with AWS, AZURE. Prior to working as Cisco Vivek worked as Director of Engineering for NSX and NSX Cloud SaaS Offering at VMware. He had the privilege of working in NSX Routing right from inception of product to the point when it grew over 1600+ people. Over the years, they extended NSX support for Container as well as cloud networking with AWS, AZURE. Vivek was responsible for SaaS offering NSX Cloud and had the privilege of product definition, building the team, and execution. Vivek also led the Dev, QA, SRE for the overall delivery of the service. As Senior Manager at Brocade and Foundry Networks, he also worked on successful delivery of several innovative technologies and solutions such as Multi Chassis Trunking, Openflow, MPLS, VPLS.
