Dr. Travis M. Hearne

Hey! My name is Travis Hearne and I am a Marine Corps Veteran, I lead our Americas Security Partner Sales team, Husband, and father of three crazy boys, and a leadership coach. Here at Cisco, I lead a channel security team focusing on evangelizing the Cisco Security Story with their customers and work with our distributors to being excellence to our partners. Before starting with Cisco in 2021, I was a cybersecurity leader with the Department of Defense (DOD), spending time in the intelligence community, and was an active Marine with tours to Iraq (2008-09) and Afghanistan (2010). My doctoral work focused on preparing DOD leadership for next-generation cyber-warfare, where I conducted in-depth research on leadership theory, cybersecurity threat and advancements, and organizational change theory to create strategies and recommendations to better help our DOD leadership fight against malicious cyber-actors. Education: Doctor of Education in Organizational Change and Leadership, Master’s of Professional Studies in Homeland Security and Geospatial Intelligence
