Ram Singh leads the engineering team in the Intent-Based Networking Group with direct responsibility for the Enterprise Routing, SD-WAN, and cloud networking portfolio. In this position Ram is responsible for product strategy, development, and delivery. He joined Cisco in 2019 and has more than 22 years of technical leadership and industry success in networking, virtualization, SaaS and Distributed Systems. Prior to Cisco he was Vice President of Engineering at VMware for NSX Controller and NSX Cloud SaaS Offering at VMware. He had the privilege to be one of the founding members of NSX and led it from inception. At Brocade and Foundry Networks, he played different role in architecting and delivering solution for data center switches and routers. Ram is technologist and entrepreneur who loves to build simple solution for complex problem at hand. He holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from IIT, BHU India, and a master of science degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
