Muhammad Imam is Director of Technical Marketing for Enterprise Routing, Switching and Wireless product lines in the Intent Based Networking Group at Cisco. Muhammad joined Cisco in 2008 and has more than 15 years of experience in the networking industry. He has held various positions at Cisco and is one of the first Technical Marketing Engineers to work on Catalyst 9000 Family of products. He is also one of the initial engineers to work on ASR1000 routers and now leads Catalyst 8000 product family as part of his portfolio. He also contributes to Enterprise Network designs and Next Generation Platform Architectures. In the past he has held roles in Engineering and Support of different products ranging from Routers, Switches, Firewalls, etc. Muhammad holds a master’s degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering. He also maintains a CCIE #27739 in Routing and Switching.
