Marcello Davis

Marcello Davis has been with Cisco at the RTP campus for 4 ½ years. Florida-born, and North Carolina-raised, he grew up right outside of Charlotte, NC. Marcello attended North Carolina State University in Raleigh, where he earned his degree in Business Administration-Marketing and Information Technology. During his time at NC State he worked in several job roles such as admissions, football recruiting and even held a door-to-door alarm sales job in Chicago during a summer season. For his on campus efforts at NC State, Marcello earned the “Most Interesting Senior” award at graduation due to the volume of events he worked as a student.

In 2012, he joined Cisco as an IT analyst under the Service Continuity Management team for IT Risk Management. His responsibilities included reviewing about 70% of Cisco’s internal applications and determining whether or not they were resilient. Marcello was also tasked with managing university recruiting for Georgia Tech and North Carolina A&T. His tasks included management of summer intern projects that ranged from creating a search tool for sales speakers, to creating an automated system for resiliency. In 2015 he left IT to join the sales organization of GVS where he began as a Virtual Account Manager on the Pacific West SLED team covering Northern California K-12 accounts. In his next step on his Cisco career path, Marcello has joined the Web SP team in Northern California and is super excited to work with the best team at Cisco covering the emerging web accounts.
