Jennifer Spears

Jennifer (Jen) Spears leads Executive Communications for the Collaboration Technology Group (CTG) at Cisco. She’s passionate about helping employees share their stories and encouraging their pride to resonate across the organizations. When she’s not celebrating employees, she’s dedicated to creating engaging content, activities, and events for CTG. Jen believes that nothing great is created in a vacuum, so she’s put teamwork and collaboration – networking with her colleagues to create win-win situations for all involved – at the forefront. Previously, Jen led Employee Engagement, Strategic and Executive Communications for IBM Systems. Her 15 years with IBM Systems were dedicated to inspiring IT professionals to proudly evangelize the company’s mission and vision. That’s just her day job. When Jen’s away from the office, she’s actively volunteering in her community as an elected Fire District Governing Board Member, Fundraising Chair for the Cienega High School Marching Band and the Old Vail Middle School Cheer Squad. Jen holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Arizona and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
