Global Small Business Marketing

Christophe Pla leads Cisco’s global Small Business Marketing team, guiding efforts to help small businesses grow and innovate through digital transformation. Before joining Cisco, Pla spearheaded marketing for Capgemini’s business innovation and digital transformation practice. He also led Adobe’s global small business marketing team through the transformation of the company’s digital media business to cloud services, and served as vice president of marketing for the IT reseller Insight. In addition, he held leadership positions at Lenovo and IBM. Pla’s passion for enabling small business growth extends to his personal life. He is actively involved with Women’s Startup Lab, a leading Silicon Valley startup and leadership accelerator for women entrepreneurs from around the world; he serves on the organization’s board of advisors. He also provides mentorship, guidance, and industry expertise to women founders as part of a group of influencers and investors. Pla holds an MBA from Virginia Tech and a master’s degree in Material Science from Universite d’Angers in France. Pla, his wife, and 3 children reside in the San Francisco Bay area, California. He is an avid surfer and Ironman triathlete.
