Chris is a Director of Unified Computing System (UCS) solutions in Cisco's Computing Systems Product Group. He is currently responsible for the development of Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs) for Cisco's UCS converged infrastructure solutions, Cisco's scale-out storage solutions, Cisco’s data protection solutions, and Cisco's hyper-converged infrastructure solutions.

Previously O'Brien was an application developer, technical marketing engineer, and solution architect.
