Automation Fair 2013 – Final Thoughts from Houston
As Automation Fair was wrapping up yesterday, all of my Cisco colleagues were expressing gratitude to our hosts at Rockwell Automation. We want to congratulate our partners at Rockwell Automation for once again, putting on a very successful user conference. Our partnership has evolved into a truly collaborative and demonstrably successful model for joint product and solution developments, go-to-market effectiveness, industry and thought leadership, all aimed at the same goal: our mutual customers’ success.
In the video below, Cisco’s VP of Strategic Partnerships from Industry Solutions Group – Ecosystems, Steve Steinhilber describes in an interview with Peter Granger, Cisco’s Global Energy Industry Sr. Marketing Manager, how the relationship between Cisco and Rockwell Automation has evolved over the past seven years.
Meanwhile, Cisco’s Global Manufacturing Industry Sr. Business Development Manager, Doug Bellin, had a conversation with Rockwell Automation’s Gregory Wilcox regarding his impressions at the show. Gregory commented that “customers have a lot of excitement around what the Rockwell Automation and Cisco partnership will bring to market.” Watch this video to see a specific example of a jointly developed product announced during Automation Fair 2012, the Stratix 5700 Industrial Ethernet switch, which is already benefiting many industrial companies around the globe.
As you can see, it was a very busy and very fruitful week in Houston for us. We look forward to continuing to strengthen the partnership and business with our friends at Rockwell Automation and deliver on compelling solutions to the marketplace that help our customers realize the value of Enterprise-Industrial network convergence.
