Om Maniyar

With a distinguished reputation as a pragmatic and transformational leader that builds highly motivated, result-oriented teams, Om Maniyar came to Cisco in December 2019, bringing 25 years of IT experience to his position as VP, IT – Data Center, Security & Cloud Operations. In this role, he is leading the transformation of Cisco’s IT to enable business innovation and agility by extending infrastructure services into the cloud. Om and his team have charted a course that focuses on operational excellence, security, and business continuity — key pillars that will position Cisco IT for future technology landscapes. Before joining Cisco, Om led Visa’s technology and workforce transformation and was instrumental in redefining infrastructure engineering, fully automating infrastructure delivery, driving its cloud strategy, and repatriating infrastructure skills back into Visa. Prior to that, Om spent 13 years at Microsoft honing his technical, leadership, and management skills in various roles and disciplines and was a key leader in the Bing search engine advertising group. Om resides in Texas with his wife and has two sons. In his free time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, and participating in half-marathons.
