He is accountable for Cisco’s Global Partner Led go-to-market strategy, Global Virtual Engineering and Global Virtual Sales. These teams drive and influence more than a $10 billion dollar business and develop channel partner and customer relationships through the innovative combination of people, process and technology. His team of nearly 1,700 people is located in 50+ countries around the world.
John has nearly 30 years’ experience in the Information Technology and Communications industry, which includes the last eighteen years at Cisco. He has held several Cisco sales and sales leadership positions including with UK Enterprise, Small/Medium Business, Service Provider and the Channel Partner organization. Most recently, John led the Global Virtual Sales team, which includes nearly 1,100 inside sales representatives across the globe.
John is the UK and Ireland executive sponsor in Cisco for Inclusion and Diversity initiatives, which aim to maximise innovation and employee engagement by promoting the benefits of an inclusive culture and diverse workforce.
Prior to Cisco, John worked at 3Com, HP and Marconi.
