The Cisco Live! Green Plan
Cisco Live! 2014 will take place in San Francisco from May 19 to 22. Cisco is no stranger when it comes to finding new and innovative ways to support green initiatives such as energy conservation, sustainability and the smarter use of fiscal and natural resources. In fact, it’s been a part of how we have been doing business for years.
In recent years, organizations such as the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) and Greenpeace have ranked Cisco on top amongst other major IT companies.
In our previous blog: Midsize Renewable Energy agency in India optimizes network for efficiency, we showed how the Indian Renewable Energy Department Agency used Cisco’s midmarket solution to improve network performance while reducing cost and energy consumption.
Some of our most innovative products such as the Cisco Catalyst 2960-X can help businesses save up to 80% in energy consumption.
Our green initiatives extend beyond the various products and solutions we offer. A great example of this can be seen at the upcoming Cisco Live 2014, our biggest event of the year.
