Cisco Named One of 20 Most Likeable Brands on Twitter

August 2, 2012 - 1 Comment

As stated by the Social Media Marketing firm Likeable Media (@LikeableMedia), the Likeable Awards are designed to “recognize individuals who have leveraged social media to create a charismatic, transparent and responsive image.” Likeable Media recently announced the winners of the 20 Most Likeable Brands on Twitter (check out the webinar recording & full SlideShare presentation). I’m very excited to share with you that Cisco Systems earned one of the spots for this accomplishment.

Says Dave Kerpen (@davekerpen), CEO and co-founder of Likeable Media, the Cisco Systems Twitter handle has grown to become a trusted, reliable brand on Twitter and within the B2B space by “providing value for free.” He went on to mention that besides providing great thought leadership, Cisco is focused upon answering others’ questions, exchanging useful updates with fans and tweeting out links to interesting, trendy articles by way of its Twitter handle. As always, Cisco is committed to leveraging social channels to interact with fans and provide relevant, valuable content to customers.

  1. I totally agree on all counts – charismatic, transparent, responsive, likeable, provides value for free and so much more. Well done and well deserved – congrats!
