Big Game tonight with the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs square off for the final game, Game 7, in Boston Garden! Always a great time of year with Basketball and Hockey Playoffs, Baseball Season is in high gear, tennis is happening in Barcelona, with Roland Garros waiting patiently next month, and for golf, we have the US Open in June. Indeed, it’s a great time for sports!
But back to business. As you know, we had blogged about our new 250 and 350 models a little while back. These new switch models are the new evolution of the existing SMB switching portfolio, and share the same philosophy and value proposition, building a simple, secure, and reliable small business network at an affordable price. Now we are here to let you know how the older models are being replaced with the new models. The good news is that we are now giving you more options.
Cisco Switching Portfolio Transition:
The new portfolio includes 550X, 350X, 350 and 250 Series switches to replace the current 500, 300 and 200 Series. There is no change to 220 Series smart switches and 110 and 95 Series unmanaged switches. They will continue to be integral parts of the Cisco SMB switching portfolio.

Hi, Can you explain why there is no stock in the channel for these switches, and when stock will come on-line. Channel is citing 70 – 90 day lead times (impossible to sell on that lead-time)? Thanks.
