Organizational Communications & Culture Manager
Molly Lynch Murphy helps set and execute the global culture strategy for the Digital Transformation Group. She formally joined Cisco in October 2014 after serving as a contractor for more than two years with the company's Business Transformation team.
Murphy was formerly a vice president at Edelman, focused on Hilton Worldwide's HHonors loyalty program, Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts and Conrad Hotels & Resorts.
She helped drive public relations strategy at Golin from 2006-11, and conducted on-the-ground activation for McDonald’s sponsorships: Beijing 2008 Olympic Games, Vancouver 2010 Olympic Games and 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa, along with London 2012 Olympic Games planning and global initiatives for Ronald McDonald House Charities.
Additional contributions included the Dow Chemical Co. Olympic announcement and two McDonald's USA partnerships: NE-YO’s Pre-Grammy Brunch and Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week. Past clients were American Red Cross, Wrigley Foundation, Aon Corporation, Land O'Frost, Owens Corning and Sprint.
Before joining Golin in 2006, Murphy was at MS&L Worldwide, where she staffed medical conferences and led collegiate relations outreach for the U.S. Army Health Care Brigade. Additional clients were Procter & Gamble, Northwestern University, General Mills and the American Veterinary Medical Foundation.
Murphy focuses her volunteer efforts on the South Central Iowa Community Foundation and Mount Ayr School Foundation. She formerly served as the American Cancer Society's Chicago Associate Board 2007 communications chair and led a memorial scholarship program in 2008 to honor her mother. Murphy also worked with the Sundance Institute’s Development Office to bring the Sundance Film Festival 2011 to life for their Patron Circle.
She began her career interning for Universal Studios, Principal Financial Group and Pomerantz Events.
